Dr. Vishal Garg, Associate Professor and Head

Dr. Vishal Garg is Associate Professor and Head of the Center for IT in Building Science at IIIT Hyderabad. His current research interests are in the areas of building energy simulation, building automation, and cool roofs. He teaches building automation and controls, energy simulation, and Lighting Design & Technology. 

Sambabu G, Executive Director

Mr. Sambabu G is currently working as Senior Research Engineer and pursuing Ph.D. in IT in Building Science program at IIIT Hyderabad, India. His research interests include Transactive Energy and Demand Response, Smart Buildings & Smart Controls, Building Automation & IoT (Internet of Things), Building Management Systems & Building Operational Analytic.

Sraavani G, Senior Research Fellow

Sraavani Gundepudi is an Architect with an M.Arch Degree in Environmental Design from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. In CBS, she is working on the Cool Roof research projects in the center along with the LEED rating consultancy projects.
